Our origins in caravanning date back to the beginnings of caravanning itself in Spain.
Origins
20th century
Caravanning in Spain has its origins in the 60s, with Tuset being the first national brand created in Barcelona, followed shortly after by well-known brands such as Caravelair, Moncayo, Catusa, etc. And in the 70s brands such as Roller, Hergo, Benimar, etc. were born.
Around that time, the founder of Caravans Cerdanyola, Mr. Fco. Gómez was already working in the sector, specifically in the factory of the pioneering brand Tuset.
Beginnings...
After the closure of Caravanas Tuset back in 1979,
Mr. Gómez created his first caravanning company in Santa Perpétua de la Mogoda, called Caravanas Lego (currently Caravanas Santiga), offering sales, accessories, parking and a workshop for caravans and trailers.
Caravans Cerdanyola
In 1982, transfers the facilities of Santa Perpétua de Mogoda and locates his new company in the town of Cerdanyola del Vallés. He works as a freelancer for the first 10 years, finally converting his already recognized business in 1992 Caravans Cerdanyola SL.
The growth of the caravanning sector in Spain over the last few decades has led to individuals with significant financial resources entering the sector, creating new companies and importing European brands.
These were difficult times for an entrepreneur without the great financial resources that his new competitors had, but with great effort, professionalism, dedication, transparency and friendly treatment, he made Caravanas Cerdanyola one of the benchmarks for Caravaning in Catalonia and Spain today.

to the company, absorbing all the knowledge and experience of his father, they slowly begin to adapt to the new times and expand their facilities and services, while maintaining the familiar and transparent treatment with customers as they learned from Mr. Fco. In these first decades of the 21st century, the company began to expand its area and services, specifically in Roda de Barà it founded Autocaravanas Arc de Barà SL, with which they made their services known in well-known campsites on the Costa Dorada, moving years later to Sabadell, where it was created SBDCaravaning.

a new concept of motorhome rental with major differences from its competitors, such as 24-hour delivery/return of vehicles.
